Actually both 40 eggs tart each 1.80 and 46 egg tart each 1.53 works. This question is very vague therefore there is 2 scenario.IF each egg tart is 1.53 each jamie bought 40 it would 61.20 then she apply her 15% total would be 52.02 and she gets 9.18 change back . With 9.18 she buy 6 more egg tart .BUT if each egg tart is $1.80 and she buys 40 it would be 72 and then she apply her 15% disc it would be 61.20. SO both answer WORKS.
