Update to my predicament… alumni finally replied and said that they cannot accept our appeal for 2A(1) to be fair to members. So we can only hope that there will be slots for 2A(2). Also, does anyone know how do we get on waitlist if we failed the ballot for 2C? TIA~

Phase 2C will definitely be balloting for <1km. Just join the ballot as you have no other options right? If u fail the ballot, immediately put yourself on the waiting list the same day. You’re likely to be the first in the Q by virtue of your 2A status, as long as u don’t dilly dally again.[/quote]

Thanks for your advice! Yeah we have no other options. Sorry I’m a newbie here... can I ask how does queue number matter for phase 2c balloting? Isn’t it ballot by distance? Do we get more chance in 2C because of 2A status?

I’m an alumni of PHPPS but we missed the alumni membership deadline by a couple of days (sad la, poor oversight on my part) for this year’s registration exercise. We are currently trying to appeal but failing which, we can only go by 2A(2) as ex-student. Noticed that for 2020, even 2A(1) was oversubscribed and there were no slots for 2A(2). Do we have any chances applying for 2C or just give up entirely? We are SC<1km. TIA!!!
