Hi, this is my first time asking about the P1 registration question, my son is SG50, Singaporean, will go to primary school in 2022, I am the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan member, I live within 1km from Tao Nan School, I want to ask that if we want to go Tao Nan School, I still need to ballot or not? Who have the data for past years, please? Thank you for info.

If u notice, every single year red colour for Tao Nan phase 2B, always have to ballot for <1km folks.
The only exception was 2019, pink colour. All the <1km heng heng fit the 2B vacancies exactly. No balloting required that year. -

You are a member of SHHK but have you fulfill the 80hrs? If you have not, then you will be under Phase 2C. Guaranteed ballot < 1km.

I suspect the PV hrs is going to be quite a challenge for a number of schools these years as PV opportunities have been drastically reduced. For schools with 80hrs, probably going to be even tougher (but will be good news for those who meet cos fewer ‘competitors’). Just this morning, the 933 DJs were talking about it - that MOE is going to let the schools decide how parents should best meet the 40hrs requirement (for government schools). -
If go SHHK route, there are certain schools that are less competitive. If want to aim those hyper competitive schools, then should already be prepared to join high-stakes ballot. A bit late to find out after joining and starting on/finishing the 80 hours IMO.

Yes, I fulfill 80 hours already. -

Guangyang Primary School will not be admitting students to Primary 1 (P1) starting from the 2021 P1 Registration, due to the merge with Townsville.

Good morning all!
For applicants who fail at Catholic High Phase 2B and 2C, may I know where will they try for 2CS or be posted to? We are trying to weigh all our options and understand whether or not we can stomach the risk. Thanks!

Dragon year babies (registered in 2018) had balloting >2km in phase 2B (green colour).
For this year SG50 and next year SG51 babies, should expect the same. -

Hi all,
I’m an alumni of PHPPS but we missed the alumni membership deadline by a couple of days (sad la, poor oversight on my part) for this year’s registration exercise. We are currently trying to appeal but failing which, we can only go by 2A(2) as ex-student. Noticed that for 2020, even 2A(1) was oversubscribed and there were no slots for 2A(2). Do we have any chances applying for 2C or just give up entirely? We are SC<1km. TIA!!!
