It started like 2 years back for me that I started to be very careful in choosing food and try to avoid food with artificial colorings, preservatives, chemicals etc... anyone shares the same as me?
If most people gives in to only good and tasty food and do not worry about the content.. there will be more and more inhumane food. :stompfeet:

If you go to the store, they tell you its so good because it treats this, it treats that right? I think the information below will help many of you to understand birdnest better! I have copied the most important para below and the rest you can read from the link. Hope it helps!
Besides its high protein content, there is content in scientific term called Neuraminic acid, collectively known as Sialic acid (唾液酸), a natural carbonate compound which is able to absorb bacteria and virus. When our body is attack by virus or bacteria, Neuraminic acid is able to absorb these virus or bacteria on our skin first and then performs inhibiting action to prevent spread of the virus or bacteria to other good body cells.
It is also an important substance required in ganglioside (a glycosphingolipid found in the brain and other nervous system tissues) distribution and structure in the brain. Hence, it has been commonly said to contribute to neurological and intellectual advantages in infants.

RE: Bird nest
Filial Daughter, it depends where you buy the dried birdnest from. Some vendors did not really make it very dry and hence it will mould more easily. Hence you should check if there’s any mould or unpleasant smell if it has passes the expiry date. How long did it last already?
