I’ve recently engaged the service of Raffles Tuition Agency http://www.rafflestuitioncentre.com/looking-for-a-tutor.html

Their recommended teacher Charmaine came twice, got the 2 lessons fee and never bother to come for the 3rd lesson. She did not even have the basic courtesy to call me and we waited for her to come. I called her but she just cut off my call! What is worst is that the tuition agency also never returned my call as I wanted to know what is the reason for the tutor’s behavior.
I really don’t understand how someone can be so irresponsible especially since we parted well at the end of the second lesson and the tutor even asked me to buy an assessment book for my child..

We went to Seoul Plaza for skating on the first day and it's free! Yes, very nice experience to skate in minus degree and we don't feel that cold any more after skating!

We just came back from Korea. A quick update on Alpensia, the convenience stores do have ham, sausages, eggs, bread, pasta sauce, frozen dumpling, fruits, dried pasta… I managed to dish up a pasta dish while we are there as the kids were kinda ‘sick’ of the food offered there. As for adults, the restaurants there are affordable and delicious so for those who aren’t keen to cook, no worries about getting hungry while u r there. How to post photos huh? I did take some photos…

Is it? I thought I've seen review some where that they do sell some fresh ingredients, just that we need to buy early as the stock is low.. Hmm.. Thinking of making simple breakfast.. :scratchhead:

Anyone knows where the shuttle bus stops in Myeondong? Is it at the subway station? That being the case, which hotel is affordable and near the bus stop so that we dun hv to lug our luggages for too long.

Maybe you can check with the neighboring ski resort like Yongpyong Ski resort, seen somewhere that they are opening one week earlier..so u may want to take a short taxi trip there since you can't sled at Alpensia?

Haha, I think it's ok lah since we r at the airport and people would assume we are going to cold countries. Can't imagine wearing a pair of normal shoes each and lugging four pairs of winter boots in the luggage.
