Hi all. So Glad to see this thread as I am clueless to the whole registration thing. I just moved to Yishun area and have no clue what school is gd there. It seems the more popular sch near my place are between 1-2km from my home. Becoz I have 2 girls, I’m tempted to try a girl’s sch >2km.

Hi. I’m new to Yishun area. Chongfu is >2km so I don’t even need to think abt it.

1) May I know how to find out when are the open house for the schools like northland, jiemin and huamin?
2) Can someone share with me your views on jiemin and huamin?
3) I’m <2km from northland, jiemin and huamin. Am I right that from the stats of 2016, that northland had balloting for <1km. Therefore, all <2km will be out?

Hi. For say KCP under 2C, since balloting is required, does it make a difference if I’m within 1-2km or >2km?

Hi. This question may sound silly but I hope someone can help provide me some clarity. I read the registrations rules many times but can’t quite understand still.

I am in the midst of selling my flat and moving. If all goes well, I should move into my new place around June-Aug.
If so, which address do I qualify to use for the 1-2km?

I just started reading up the registration process for p1. I’m torned between which sch to try. Both AT and KCP are within 2km from my place. Should I risk to ballot for AT?

Its such a pity that both me n hubby’s school are at the east side and and we can’t consider east side due to logistics constraints.
