Hello,
It’s entirely my fault that I hadn’t bought this earlier for my child, but she’d been admitted into KKH for bronchitis recently and now I’m facing some issues getting a more comprehensive coverage for medishield. So far I’ve only check with one company, so I’d like to seek some recommendations here on which insurance company would be ‘less harsh’…

RE: All about 1 dish meal
Crockpot, otherwise known as slow cooker always yields good one dish meal… Like : lor bak (stew pork meat), chicken soup, beef stew, lamb stew. And so easy, just prepare all the stuff and throw them into the pot, a day of cooking on high and you’ll come home to piping hot dinner of tender meats and thick gravy, served with crusty bread or steaming white rice.

RE: All About Part-Time Maids
Hi…
Need recommendation for a part time domestic helper to just do specific cleaning jobs on, perhaps, a fortnightly basis. I just need help to do the toilets, clean windows/grilles/glass/mirrors and changing of bedsheets. My location is Marine Parade. Please kindly PM any recommendation. TIA! -

RE: [Bedok/Katong/Marine Parade/Siglap] Preschools
i really would like to hear from all opinions here…
i just started my 20mth old daughter at Just Kids playgroup. The first week was ok, she doesn’t seem unhappy of sorts, though she can’t quite tell me what she learnt in school as compared to her ability to repeat the songs (bits here and there) taught in GUG. Of course, the first 3 days were supposedly parent-accompanied, but i left her on her own mostly while just hanging around outside the classrooms to observe. Come this week, precisely 2 days ago, when i picked her, i heard her cries loudly which the teachers explained it was due to a boy squeezing into her space while they were waiting along the corridor. The second day, again, she was crying when i picked her up and her form teacher explained that she was traumatized by the many children moving around the place as they prepared for their concert. Today, she refused to let me put on her uniform.
Is it true that toddlers would experience resistance to such daily (parents-hands-off) programmes sometime in one way or another, regardless of earlier or later? Anyone with similar experience to share? Or is this a sign that i should change school for her? -
RE: What kitchen appliances do you use?
