Today I just had my first taste of Prima Taste Laksa Ban Mian.

It was wonderful!
If you are hungry and suddenly crave for nyonya laksa, but are too lazy to go out, this is the next best thing that can tantalize your taste buds! :drool:

I tried that before. It's not bad for a quick fix. Gravy is good but the noodles seemed a little hard... Maybe must boil longer... DH loves it.

Just bought 2 packets to try out after reading it, hope it'll be good.

I bought that 'My Pals are here' Science book before my son went to P3, hoping it will stimulate his interest in Science. He told me he was flipping through for the pictures !!! Not believing him, I went through it and found that it wasn't informative and helpful...now those 2 books are white elephants on the shelf. :x
Personally feel that this publisher 'My Pals Are Here' is not very helpful. EPH, SAP or else Fairfield Publishing is better.

Yes I agree, My Pals is just filled with pictures, not much information. I like the Marshall Cavendish guidebook. Do you know of any other good guidebooks?

I often see long queue at the cuttlefish kangkong stall, so one day I went to queue. Really queue for a long time, stand until legs ached.

In the end, don't really like the food as i found it \"too sweet\" to my liking.

Depends on school though. My school only notifies us about flag day events. Other cip, we have to search ourselves. Usually people go to the library. xD

Surprise to hear that you've to search for CIP activities yourself and not from the school.
So will the library CIP be on waiting list since most pupils go there?

Personally I also wish to have a new dad for my kids... Esp when there is any outing/event, sure has someone asks : where is daddy?

There are some men who wanted to date me out, but refused to meet my kids.. so they were off of my list after 4~5 times of outing.

Was a single man, can mix around with my kids and my kids like him too. We were enjoy most of the outing and blah blah blah... after sometimes, his mum called and told me that they disagreed of this kind of relationship, as I have 2 kids. To her, I am just a woman who wanted to grab a man to provided all the $$$. She told me directly that his son is innocent, is better to apart with his son, his son is single sure can find a better partner...

Seriously I felt hurt, in fact I felt is an insult. After some consideration, I decided to leave him, as I believe that I wont be in bliss if I married him, so do my kids. We have to face their family members, which I think those situation is unneccessary for my kids. Even he told me that he can disword his parents, what a sin if he does so...

After this incident, I gave up on find a new dad for my kids.

Let natures takes it course. But I do think and consider a lot before I run into a new relationship, whether it is for myself, or kids...

There are some blissful cases too. For the meanwhile , just take good care of yourself and your son. There is always a better tomorrow! Good luck :love:

saluate to those single mums who rejected love and relationship for the sake of their kids even though they hope to search for and start another relationship.

There is science at P2? Or is it just some schools?

For some schools, the teachers do introduce science to the P2 in the second half of the year, just to get them familarise with the topics in P3.

My child has been using Kumon for a while. We liked it at the beginning. It helped my child in math calculation skills. But over time, the benefit is no longer that visible and we feel more pressure on its monthly bills. Then we accepted the advice from our neighbor, and started to do the worksheets on Beestar. To my surprise, she loves the 10 quick questions very much and it really helps kids thinking. Pretty great. Plus, I also don't have to drive her to kumon, saving much time.

A parent friend who sends her girl to kumon also tells me the same thing,
ie. initially, there is improvement in mental calculations but as time passes,
no more visible improvement and the child gets bored sometimes doing the repetitive questions.
