I want to prepare my child early for PSLE. I wish to find out what topics will be tested in the 4 subjects. From what I know, for Science will be topics fr P3-6 (correct me if I’m wrong), what about the other 3 subjects? Thanks!

For science, all topics from P3 to P6 will be tested......(P2 ones not tested)

For all other subjects, the topics are from P1 to P6

What is important is to be consistent in the day to day work, and don't do last minute cramming

Math concepts of lower primary are reinforced through applications in higher primary topics

As for languages you can't escape from more and more practice in writings and exercises and more readings

          Hi verykiasu2010,

There is science at P2? Or is it just some schools?

eg when talking to kiasu P2 parents, you always ask them how they have prepared for their DS/DD's science exams, right ?

For some schools, the teachers do introduce science to the P2 in the second half of the year, just to get them familarise with the topics in P3.

I saw in another thread that for PSLE Chinese, only P4-P6 topics will be tested, any parents with children already taken PSLE can cofirm this?

Hi, I'm a P6 student who had just taken PSLE this year ^^
I don't think languages have topics, so it's just from P1-P6, everything you've learnt actually.
