Presumably the family vacation is desired by the whole family, not just a present for you? If this will be the only opportunity for a family vacation, then ask them what they prefer? A compromise might be to replace your phone (if necessary) with something less pricey, and go on a less-expensive vacation. Then you get a bit of both.

I've gotten over the mobile phone hype. I used to renew my phone every year, then every 2 years, ... now I'm using my 2 year old phone despite the bright green line on my screen which would cost me $200 plus 5 days downtime to repair :slapshead:

I think only those who have extra $$$ to spare should be the ones buying phones every release. For me, i don't buy new phone if current still working. Been using my phone with cracked screen for 4yrs already and still working perfectly fine. But i think if i will get same issue as yours, will replace phone already coz a bit hassle to pay especially for someone like me who always use qr code

Police really won't entertain or interfere with such cases unless there's severe physical abuse involved. Best thing to do was just transfer the kid like what op said.

As someone who hasn't been to US and Europe before, I don't know either kidding aside, i think here in SG we only celebrate halloween on school events and some in workplace. Vietnam too dont actively celebrate and they call it \"Devil's festival\" :nailbite:

Mine work well. I load dishes after dinner then unload next morning before bfast. No need to rinse before loading in dishwasher too. Can ask what tablet u use?

Hi, I would suggest homeschooling for your child. When your child goes to secondary level, Pathlight needs not be the only choice. You can also consider IGCSE. You can just register at British Council Singapore as a private candidate. The best thing is your child do not need to take all the subjects at one go. At the end of the day, it is recognised locally and overseas just like O Level examinations. Choose the path that is best for your child. There is no need to follow any norm. Best wishes!

This is good advice! I agree that as parents, it is important that we choose the best path for our child/ren. Maybe you can also try asking your child if he prefers to be homeschooled or stay with his/her friends at school lah. That way, can know his preferences too!
