Battlestar Galactica ride at Universal Studios Singapore closed

SINGAPORE: According to reports, the Battlestar Galactica ride at Universal Studios Singapore has been closed since July 21.

In response to queries from Channel NewsAsia, Universal Studios would only say that the ride has been closed for an attraction review.

No details were given as to the reasons why nor would it say how long the review would take.....

Just visited the park today.. Both the big rides are still down, coming 4 months already.. .. :stupid:

The usual Tues + tourist crowd so it wasn't crowded at all.. ..
The heavy downpour in the evening got me worried..
It was leaking in quite a few places, walkways to the transformers ride that was indoors had baby pools like obstacle course de.. ..slippery!
The Mega boat ride now ends with water curtain too.. Not sure if it was new, leaking, or regular during rainy days.. :faint:
The Mummy ride also has a massive jerk/brake right in the middle of the ride that was not 'usual', I highlighted to the crew and they say will look into it.
Not ranting here, just like to let fellow parents know so at least can keep an eye on the young ones when you are visiting.

                    Juz me $0.02.. ...

Yes, quite disappointed with USS recently-the closure of the rollercoaster is too long.

Can't help thinking the price of USS tickets and Annual Pass is reduced due to the rollercoaster closure.

Most likely will not renew the Pass next year if there is no new attractions. :skeptical:

                        Hi,

Anyone interested in Annual pass for the USS?

My friend selling each ticket at S$120 (usual price S$188)
                        Minimum must buy two tickets.
Last date to activate the ticket is on 01April2014.

Once ticket is activated, it will last for 1year.
Example : Activate ticket on 12Dec2013, expire on 11Dec2014

If interested, PM me your contact.
I will ask her to call you.
                        Thanks.
