      What is the difference between

      1) 捉 and 抓
      2) 忽然 and 突然

And how do we use them correctly?
      Itchy hand, let me try.....

抓 catch (action: grab, grip, hold tight) 抓紧一奌 <grib tighter>
捉 catch (action: run after something to grab) 捉迷藏 <play hide and seek>

忽然 time passed fast, that one feels like its just like a blink of eyes (unawares)
突然 all of a sudden (unexpectedly)

(The above 忽然 and 突然 are very commonly misused, nowadays it seems like people take them as the same meaning.)

See the 捉 has a 足 , it involve running after something to grab/catch

抓 has 爪 (五爪: fingers) catch, grab, grip with palms (fingers)

          忽 is 勿然, time eclipse.
突 is protuberant, ... something sticking out out of no where, wasn't expected to be there.

I have this friend…a hokkien speaking one who is rotten in mandarin.

He will substitute the hokkien ‘niah’ with "才".

Like "20 cents only?" will be 两毛才or whatever "才".

                  It is soooooo painful!

                      ....不知冥想了多久,一直到被门铃声唤醒,才忽然惊觉一大半个下午已过去了

(the example above: it involve time... unaware of the time passed...)
