My gal suddenly woke up this morning (half sleeping) and said, \"I want trolley bag for school!\"
I know OG Orchard and OG Chinatown has a range of sch bags - trolley, non-trolley, ergo, non-ergo.
You can go see first and then make the purchase during GSS.
A few sch bags specialty shops offers better discount during GSS than departmental stores.
I think there is another thread on sch bags. Do a search and enjoy comparing

EL paper 2 down today.
Countdown.
3 more to go -
Another suggestion from me is to split the water bottle n storybk into a smaller handheld bag. The students r supposed to bring their storybooks to recess, so i bought a small daiso bag for them to put the storybk, lunchbox n waterbottle. Easier to manage during recess too. My boy told me most students juz sqish the storybk under 1 armpit n the lunchbox under another when they need to use the hands to take money fr wallet

Howβs the revision getting along for everyone taking exams so far? All these best to PH students for the remaining papers!!

This method will work if the kid is not a careless gnome. Mine just misplaced his pencil case last fri. My mum used to tell me, if my head can be detached, I may lose it one day. So I guess ds is a chip off the old block. :faint: -

Thanks bgmum. Hope every student has enough sleep these 2 weeks. -

Agree. Light bag is impt. In that sense, I made a mistake when I got ds one of those ultra heavy ergo bags. Btw, the light at the end of the tunnel (a diff kind of light), you see it? Just 1/2 yr more, hang in there!
Hi, I think I understand your concern. My dd is also petite in size, so I got her a very light school bag, a small water bottle and a very thin story book (for quiet reading purpose). During 1st year, most of the school textbooks and exercise books are given to her class teacher before the school term start. So not to worry, just remind her to walk down the staircase slowly and also not to pack unnecessary stuffs in her school bag.mommy2two:
Thanks for the sharing, dyh.
guess i'll have to get a better ergo bag for her. -

Perhaps she has to bend forward even more?

Your 'hang in there for 1/2 year more', is it refer to me specifically? If yes, thanks!

Yup, that's specifically for you.
As a safety net, that affiliation to NYGH looks very attractive indeed.
