I don't recall seeing a Swensens outlet in Thailand.

Now have already.... unlike SG, we have Swensens since 30years ago...

      I looooovvvve Swensens! :please:

      Since forever.

Now that you mentioned it, I agree that Thailand's variety of dinner box meals and even just their cup noodles seems more appetizing. When we were in Karon, I swung by the 7-11 (for something else) and just had to get a few back to sample in our room. There was so much to eat in Thailand but so little time. πŸ˜‚

Last Thurs, someone told me that her friend’s father made a steamed salted rabbit fish stuffed with herbs/onion/garlic. The fish scales not removed, coated with coarse salt, wrapped in foil.

This morning, I caught a repeat on Channel U - a salted chicken sold in Ipoh. The chicken, stuffed with Chinese herb Dang Gui, is wrapped in paper, then baked with coarse salt in a very big wok. When the paper parcel is opened, the chicken juice is yellowish and the chicken meat still looks juicy.

Anyone tried the above 2 dished before?

Lunch was watery porridge made with Chinese yam, carrot, chicken breast and last night Chinese watercress soup.

I first read the above as \"rabbit\".. :faint:

I accidentally ate rabbit meat burger in KL. I didn't know until I finished every morsel and was wrapping the wrapper. 😒 I was feeling too  I didn't know whether to puke it out or just let myself remain nauseous with guilt.

I kept praying and saying sorry furry friends in my sleep that night. 😞

But it was quite delicious. 😒 How could it be? 😒

But.. But.. I can take the fried balls I guess. Not chewy like fresh squids. I get what you mean.. can mince the squid meat to make the fried wanton, right?
