Not sure about that, I used to think so but then there seems to be a change this year from the GEP briefing.dyh:
[quote=\"drickymummy\" HELLO, it a conditional safety net of minimum 250, ok? Anyway, the prinicpal said that must really consider and think of other schools beside NYGH if the child gets low 250+. There are so many sec schs to choose, just need to convince my dd  .
If she gets DSA, there won't be a need for 250 score.
I doubt it. I extracted this from MOE site:
If I am offered a DSA-Sec place in a secondary school, do I have to meet the schools Cut-off-point for Secondary One (S1) posting?
Students given an offer by a secondary school for DSA-Sec admissions must achieve PSLE results that would enable them to be eligible for admission to a course being offered by the school, eg. if a school only offers Express Course, the students’ PSLE aggregate must be at least within the Express/N(A) course option and if a school offers Express and N(A) course, the students’ PSLE aggregate must be at least within the N(A)/N(T) course option. -

My boy's Maths teacher told the class today that no one got full mark for the paper.
My boy said paper was ok.Jennifer:
Parents of P6, how does your child feel about today's Maths paper?
My boy says it is easy
:nailbite: I dunno whether to believe him or not
Impressed by the speed the paper is marked.
Think the teachers more kancheong than the pupils :rotflmao: -

250 for a gepper is \"wet-wet-water\" lah, despite the fact that they start formal preparation only in mid-P6? When the engine (brain) is good, don't think need so much time to prepare as absorption rate is high.

I went to an sec school briefing last year. the spokeman said if the child has CO, then the school has to take the child if it meets the MOE PSLE critiria even if below 250. But he reminded that the child should not be complacent; he also added that so far the school has not made any \"wrong\" choices and the CO kids had always scored above 250.comfy:
