Their huge collection of books and educational resources is truly amazing but unfortunately the prices are rather exorbitant.
Not sure if still worth it to buy even after discount...

actually lots of their storybooks are available in most school libraries even if they aren't found in NLB.
Or... order online from http://www.bookdepository.com or http://www.fishpond.com

For the educational resources, lots can be replaced using their simpler versions from Popular bookstore.
Unless it's really unavailable elsewhere.

I bought a book on classroom decoration from them before - stood there for 2 hours to browse through the suitable resources and in the end I only choose ONE. But my heart still ached for a few weeks because of the price...

Anyway, I didn't have time to use that book in the end... :stupid:

I think Popular is having 20% off for members in all its stores for books from 24 May 2013 to 16 June 2013. Spend $20 and get a $5 "stationery discount voucher". That’s from a newsletter they just sent out today.

I called up popular, 20% not applicable to assessment books (I wanna buy assessment books) but can still get the $5 stationery voucher if spend > $20 on anything
