No school for DD tomorrow. Marking day. DD is :rahrah: but DS is :stompfeet: cos he still has to go to school. šŸ˜‚

And she got back her Science MCQ results. She did well so she is still šŸ•ŗ .

Now we are :xedfingers: that she can still continue to šŸ•ŗ when she gets back the rest of her results.

Thank you Buds. Am sure your girls will do well. Both of them write so well and I love your DD1's handwriting. So neat and totally legible.

DD was not very focused. All her teachers have been saying she needs to put in more effort. Her form teacher also says that she capable of much better results but is too distracted and have not been putting in effort in her work. As such she is behind her peers in the past few tests.

I told DD whatever results she gets is directly related to the amount of effort she puts in. On the one hand, I am hoping she maintain her grade. But on the other hand, I am waiting for a chance for her to experience a set back and learn a lesson. So I guess whatever her results, it should work out for me right? But still I am one moment like :nailbite: and the next :imcool: .

Everything you just said, Funz... same with my DD2. I have had calls from her math teacher saying she's not maximizing her best. Just bordering on complacency. They help set expectations for her on my behalf. I feel less stress in a way. šŸ˜† They literally told her to buck up if she wanted to stay in the class or else be prepared to be booted out end of the year. Cool huh?

I love it when my kiddies get teachers who really do a teacher's job! :please: If they go beyond their calling, it'll be a great blessing so it means I can hands off one of them and no need extra classes like school remedials and such. Can come back early and rest.

What you're feeling in anticipation oso same like me. šŸ˜‚
