Agree, if u are getting out of city, 5 days is not enough! Can also explore the East Sea if time permits.

BTW, anyone knows if any SG agencies arrange for trips to the East Sea/East Sea train ride and the Cave Cafe in Jeju?

Most local agencies packages go to the "standard" places… abit boring lei

I’m doing free and easy end of the year. Am planning the itinerary now as a form of destress from the kids exams. A week is not even enough for us to go all the places that we want to go.

              Hi peeps,

I m going Korea in June for 5 days. Just wondering is it too long a trip? Because I heard from some that Korea is basically just food and shopping.
Peapot, if you are just staying in Seoul, it's fine. All you need to do is find 5 all day touring eg.

              1) Jimjilbang aka spa for family - 1 day

              2) Everland - 1 day

              3) Dongdaemun/Namdaemun - 1 day

              4) Kyobo Bookstore/Cheonggyecheon Stream/Insadong - 1 day

              5) Myeongdong Shopping - 1 day

Actually not enough!! The above I propose is done leisurely and not the rushing kind for 1st time visit. Food are everywhere so no worries.

              6) Ehwa/Hongdae Uni shopping - 1 day (better place to shop IMO) Can replace Everland if not keen on adventure land/park.

I wanted to ask dasalo about jimjilbang too 😄 want to include in my itinerary. The most popular one is dragonhill spa but I'm still looking around for good recommendation.

                  IMO means in my opinion

I'll go find out about the rates from my friend and will revert.

Hi I m contemplating to go Korea in June or dec holidays. Is the weather in June very hot too? Apart from missing out on snow in dec, are there other reasons why dec maybe preferred? Tia.
