I always wonder how many times people shower a day.

If I go to the mkt in the morning, I shower once I reach home before unpacking the grocery.

If I need to fetch my boy from school, I shower before I leave the house.

If I take an afternoon nap, I shower before I lie on the bed.

After cooking dinner, I definitely will shower.

If I meet hubby for supper, I will shower again before I hit the bed.

Hm, if I do all the above in one day, the max. number of shower is 5.

The water heater is on when I go into the bathroom and off once I get out.

      :udawoman:
πŸ˜‰

luckily I not so hardworking to go mkt everyday

luckily most of the times my boy comes home on his own

😒 I dun get to nap everyday

luckily I dun go watch hubby eat late dinner/supper everyday

You probably need another couple more showers if you drink your rasam!

If I clean the house, I wont go out w/o a quick shower. I think it is rude to smell bad in public.

you'll save a lot of money if you don't on the heater..

electric bill + water bills (potentially)..

btw, if you're using instant heater, there is no need to turn it off.

            It's operated by pressure switch.

We are using the water tank type. Most of the times, on only for the shower after dinner. The other times, no need to on.

Like today, the tap water is warm enough on its own.

Think our electricity consumption is mostly aircon at night n water heater for the younger boy.

TV, Mio, Starhub n modem on ready mode - these consume a lot of electricity? Is being an standby mode more energy efficient? What about piano heater?

Now I think about it, don't think heater will take up so much electricity. We only switch on heater when we want to shower and turn it off after showering. In total we only turn on 30 each time x 4 pax. About 2 hours each day will use a lot of electricity?

instant water heater don't use too much electricity but water tank heater is horrifying. So we usually turn on the heater 10-15 min before use and switch it off immediately after use.

I pay 34 for gas too, usually last about 24-27 days. My oven is on electricity not gas.

GM & peapot, I use City Gas cook everyday (include soup) & my gas bill is around $21.27 never exceed $30 a month. Not sure if it's cheaper as I never use others before.

The drinkers are the appliances that heat up or cool - tank heaters, airpots, irons, ovens, aircons, fridge etc.

For gas, I cook almost everyday and my gas tank (not city gas) lasts me almost 2-3 months. That gas tank costs $32.
