Bad news: HCL paper 2 CMI.

Maybe school using this way to flush out borderline cases so that school can either focus more on them or hint to them to drop HCL for PSLE? :scratchhead:

Should hear sth from the sch if this is the case.

What ds registered was 35/45 for CL paper 2 and 52/65 for Eng paper 2, but he's not 100% sure as he wasn't really paying attention.

Thanks. I really wonder what is going on with the compre OE for EL/CL this time round. Heard at least half the class flunked this section for both languages and lowest class score is zero for EL compre OE. :scared: if it's really true...[/quote]
        FQW amd bgmum,
Thanks for sharing. At least know ds still in average ramge. He lost most marks in the comphre.
Now, have to accept B2 for both subjects. 😒

That's oredi very gd! Your ds stands a gd chance to go Teamwk9 as long as he maintains his standard. Based on past yrs' statistics, the top P6 class usually gets 260 & above, which means the top sec schs are within reach.

Ds' class didnt do well for cl paper 2. Ds did rather badly, tho he was doin ok for past yr papers.. His classmate barely passed.. Hav to see the paper to know if it was really difficult..
Understand the feeling. At this rate, we'll be numbed by the time our kids take PSLE.

                Good news to share:

Did very well for Chinese oral and Maths

Did well for EL, though below his target

                Bad news to share:

Missed target by a wide margin for Normal Chinese

Hi Maple, yes, seems like compre OE in languages pull down the most marks this time. In my case, for language paper 2, I expected him to do much better in EL than CL as he is stronger in EL compared to CL, but turns out to be the other way round.:scratchhead:

Anyway, we don't know scores of the other components of EL/CL yet. Only know that the class did v well for EL oral, average score is 14 out of 15.
Science teacher also commented that they did well for the paper. Actual result will be out next Mon.

I know of those who are consistently quite gd in the subject didn't do well for this paper. Continue to encourage your boy in his CL :rahrah:
