Tithing is mentioned in the bible - 10%. But it’s up to individual how much he want to contribute.

(from experience in other church, i never been to CHC)

I guarantee you, you guarantee me... tsk tsk tsk... I was reading CHC's news website and I cannot stand their version  I promise myself that I won't go to their news website anymore 'cos I cannot take it :stupid:

To see the forest for the trees, one needs to stay open to all opinions and views. It is only with complete information that we can truly understand the nature and extent of the issues we deal with.

Tithing is an Old Testament concept. Not New Testament.

Some have used this Old Testament concept to gather wealth for themselves.

They are abusing the concept of tithing in the Bible to profit themselves. Just think - can you stay in a Sentosa Cove bungalow and drive a big car with bodyguards?

According to today's papers, the defence lawyers did address your question. Apparently, the Crossover Project works better if people don't know who is doing the funding.

I am sure it does. But the defence lawyers use so many words I have no idea what they were saying. Maybe I should wait for one of the witnesses to explain in simple language. πŸ˜‰

Another reason is that they like to attract young people, youths and teenagers and attract them with things like pop music etc. It is much easier to brainwash young people and once these young people are brainwashed, they will support these "gods" wholeheartedly even when they become adults. Have you seen the number of adults queueing up at 11pm THE PREVIOUS NIGHT to enter Subordinate Courts at 9am the following morning to see their "gods"?
