hi KS_me
Can you reveal how much you paid? A range will do, to see if it's within my budget
Thanks. -

Thanks for reply. How many photos did you pick from those that were taken? The size? In photo album or big ones for hanging on the wall?

Hi
I have been sourcing for a studio to take family photo. Any recommendation? -
I accidentally come across this foto gallery 2 years ago.
.
I fixed the appt only to hv 1 family potraits taken. Actually no plan to take up any package. but then, the package they intro, I can take 50 shots of photo every year and they will give me the disc at the end of the session. Validity till the shop closed down for business :?:
.
When i sign up for the package, they offer me one album with maxium up to 50 photos inside, 2 wall photo, one big and one small (after 2 yrs, i still have not submit the photos for the album coz no time and i very lazy ) :nailbite:
.
For paid by monthly instalment of 78 bucks per month for 2 years.
.
Mine package also include 1 or 2 passport photo shot per year, one hairdo (for ladies who has party or function). they also got some computer course for members. As for the rest, i cannot remember
.
till now, i have taken 2 shots at this gallery.i bring dh, ds1 and ds2 along. i use my own clothing for some shots and use their korea outfit for some shots. 2nd yr, i use only my own outfit.
.
when i go in, after i change my outfit, their hair stylist will do make up for me and do mine hairdo. after that, they will do some touch up for dh, ds1 and ds2. end of session, they juz return the disc with 50 shots to me.I don't develope the photos there, becoz veri x, i use the disc and develope outside, much more cheaper
.
I decide to sign up this package is becoz of the kids also. since i can 50 shots every year, i can see the different in them with the years go by. -

oh. maybe it's a case of big biz vs small biz or you got a pretty good customer service team previously. i took my graduation portrait 4yrs ago - budget type ie only 1 post - and have to see the camera man's face. they never even offered to change the background pic until i asked for a change (showed me black face at that time). that time had the 'take until you happy' policy, but we where have time to take off to go down again to take the photo again? anyway, that is 4yrs ago; they could be better now....
I assume 'good lobang' means recommendationtitank:
Hi All,
Anyone had taken any studio pictures as a group family? If you have good lobang in Singapore or Malaysia do share if you can.
Well, my ILs took their family portrait with Serangoon Broadway and when DH and I got married, they did our wedding portrait too. They were nice and waited for us to come in aft 12am to take our pix aft the wedding. This was like 10 yrs ago .....

I had studio pix done when DSes were younger at Foto U. Last time I think was in Oct 2009.
It's pricier now than a few years back, but still cheap compared with the rest. Can't remember too much but they will give you all the pictures taken within ? hour in a CD.
But the cheapest price only have thumbnails of the pictures. If you want the full sized softcopies, you have to top up.
There is no airbrushing, and no pestering you to pay a lot of money for a few paper photos.
There is no limit to the outfit changes so long as the time is observed. I can't recall how long, but we were all bushed after 1 hour.
each cd had hundreds of pictures and I think they threw in some 5Rs that will be mailed to you - but I never got around to using that cos I can never choose the nicest pix.
they got website. http://www.foto-u.com
