Ur kid is in pri what? Wonder p1 homework much anot conparing to other sch

My DS has already successfully graduated since last year. He is now in HCI. I must say there were no regrets going into HP cos this was the school I wanted my DS to be. Although it was not a 100% perfect experience throughout the 6 years but overall the school has prepared him well in terms of academic, sportsmanship and leadership skills.
Under the principal Mr Ng, there were loads of homework as compared to Fairfield (I've friends in that school), it was difficult and stressful but because of that, my DS is coping well with another level of stress in Sec 1. So that's about it and good luck to your registration.

Nutty mum, is your DS a high ability child? Why do you say that it is not a 100% perfect experience?

Yes, there are about 5-6 CCA to choose from like gym, art, table tennis, badminton. Its not compulsory and CCA stops normally for a few weeks before the term exams.

Ur kid is in what cca nw? So if is after p3 den is compulsory?

yup. CCA since school started. not sure after P3, but it should be compulsory like our times. There is an extra category called ECCA or something, where they get special trainers in to do special courses (must pay), those are optional.

                hi

For those who don't know, the application for full single session probably didn't go through. So next year, P1 and P2 will still be afternoon session.

                http://hppsschoolprincipal.blogspot.sg/

PS: Anyone under Phase 1 next year ? Do u know when they will let us know of admission results for siblings ?

I've called up Henry Park. The person told me most prob Sep will completely finalise weather still remain afternoon session anot after receive all applicants. As of now they still can't assure with parents. But to my point of view I guess it's 98% sure it will remain... :slapshead: I'm hoping for morning session as e student care in my area does not accept afternoon session students. :stupid:

                  Any mummies

Be at assembly area by 1230 for all days except wednesdays.
                    1300 on wednesdays.
Most CCAs start about 9+ or 10am on a weekday.

I believe most school buses can arrange to pickup earlier but you have to pay them extra for each of these trips. It can range from anything between $2 to $8 per trip depending on distance.
