I’m planning a family vacation end July this year after reading about Club Med’s activities for kids. Am quite keen on Cherating Club Med in Kuantan because we want to go turtle watching. Are the rooms there run down / poor condition like what some reviewers said? Can anyone advise me how to get to Club Med Cherating from Singapore? Not driving or taking coach as we have 2 young kids to handle. Or is it much easier to go to Club Med Bintan instead?
Do I book directly with Club Med or is there a recommended tour agency in Singapore who could provide a transport and accommodation package? Thanks in advance! -

Bintan is easier with kids. Just take ferry. If u don't wanna drive to Cherating, then take firefly to Kuantan. Not sure if silkair still flies to Kuantan. Then arrange resort to pick u up fm Kuantan airport.I'm planning a family vacation end July this year after reading about Club Med's activities for kids. Just back from Club Med Bintan. Nice. The kids had a great time, and made many new friends.
We had 2 sea-facing connecting rooms, 2 blocks away from the main building. Clean. Quiet. No lizards
My 11 year old tried her hands on almost everything including sailing, wind surfing, kayaking. Her favorites include archery and being on the trapeze.
Going to Bintan on the ferry is so easy and affordable. I'm glad we decided to go to Bintan instead of Cherating, which will mean travelling in a coach or taking a plane. -
clud med is fun. Good for family-bonding.

IIRC, it's the Balau block, on the left of the main building, directly facing the Coconut Garden.

Snorkelling - no practice leh. Just register n go. If u hv been to elsewhere for snorkeling, then I think this one can skip. Nothing much to see. I took my pre-schooler to wad ard the rocks near the Matahari Bar during high tide, throw a couple of pieces of bread into the water and the fishes came
