        Andaiz:

Knew we're kindred souls as far as f&b are concerned...used to have waffles with ice-cream and when no waffle left to mop the ice cream, add the remains to the root beer flot šŸ˜‰

Like I mentioned...now cannot do such things liao - moment of heaven on lips, lifetime on hips mah! :stupid: :stupid:
Yes we probably are the type that live to eat instead of eat to live.. šŸ‘…

Your phrase \"moment of.....lifetime of....\" reminds me of another similar phrase...\"Moment of pleasure, Lifetime of commitment\"....

We were in M'sia last week of Dec hols. The shopping mall fast food restaurant were all packed, except A&W.

Becos the boys have never tasted root beer float, we ordered one for them and also a cheeseburger meal. The french fries were room temperature and the burger not worth mentioning.

I think if someone brings A&W back into S'pore, it still wont make it.

Its waffles and root beer float aren't unique items. With no signature item, it's really diificult to see it surviving in S'pore.
You could be right. Did you try the coney dog? Is it still the same?

I lurve Coney Dog Tuesday! I'm with you on the other two, yeah man!

Is A&W linked with Orange Julius? I vaguely recall seeing the two side by side (sharing the same store unit) when I was in San Francisco years ago.

Ok, I really dislike Orange Julius! The orange drink tastes so powdery!

This root beer thing is very addictive. Actually the coney dogs are really nice too. If it is back, I am sure my kid will love it!
                      Thanks. I sign liao.

I was in M'sia over the Dec hols and went to a small fast food restaurant. DS1's friend ordered 2 set meals of 2 chickens each and got them after 15 mins. DS1 ordered a bucket of 8 chickens after his friend's order but waited for more than 30 mins before the food arrived way after his friends had finished their meals. :x :x Worst, the restaurant was not crowded at all - about 30 diners including our group of 7.
