      Same here.

My DH always tell my maid ; \" i am not the one to decide if you stay or leave. If Mom says you are not suitable, then you have to leave. I have no say. \"

So she knows I am the QUEEN of the house, even Sir cannot save her

        Andaiz:
welcome to the club hquek, there must be a Domestic Helper vocab phrasebook with these as the top excuses:

        \"Not me\"
        \"I don't know\"
        \"huh?\"
\"It wasn't like that when I say it...\" and my favourite...
        \"ehm, I forgot ma'm\"
And must add - \"This is the first time I've done it\", even though you've caught them for the umpteenth time. :x

By the way, my maid said \" I cannot accept that she found a better job. Employers shouldn't be so petty. All maids want to look for better offer\"

What's up with her? I tell you I \"ren\"!!! MOM should really look into helping employers like us who face such problems. They probably think being held hostage by the maid is not so serious that they will blacklist the maid from returning.
You can call or email to MOM regarding her attitude, behaviour, threats etc to discourage their approval of the S-pass to her. State clearly all incidents that she has done to be viewed as undeserving to come back to Singapore to work under other employments. Make sure you include her passport, work permit details, etc. Of course, don't let her know about it so she doesn't get a chance to debate/appeal on it.

Another thing is if you know who her prospective employers are, give them a call and give your \"testimonial\" of her work performance and attitude. I'm sure they'll think super hard about employing her!

I agree with blurqueen... can call or email to MOM on her attitude. Hav to make them aware and think twice of approving their S-pass.

I also vote for this action plan. They are always ganging up against us employers (oops, now I'm ex), now we also gang up against the bad apples!

                    Hi peapot,

I second blurqueen's, NicHei's, 2ppaam's and kiasimom's suggestion. But may I suggest that you EMAIL MOM and keep a hardcopy of it.

As my DH would always say/remind me ... always leave a paper trail so that there is something that you can fall back on, just in case šŸ˜„
