Hi , my son is around 10months and is looking for one kid who was born in 2012 to join in a swimming group at coach’s house, located at Thomson.Group size is 2-3 kids. S$28 per lesson. If anyone is interested, please PM me. Thanks.

My lil dragon has said his first few baby words now.. :please:


1st was Daddy. :skeptical:
2nd was Grandpa. :skeptical: :skeptical:
3rd was banana :roll:

I mean seriously, banana?

He said nanana actually, which was kinda cute. :love:

Hi Buds, how old is your \"chubs\" now? My son is coming to 15th month old and he still can't say any word.. The only sound he made like a word is \"papapapapapapa\"... not sure is he calling his papa..

He is coming 2.5yrs old soon.

Both my tiger chubs and dragon_boi went thru the \"papapapapaa\" phase as well.

My dragon_boi surprised us with more new words and I knew it wasn't just random babbling because he was able to relate to them..

4th word : ball

5th word : bird

6th word : mummm mummm mummm.... awww..... close but not there yet.

previously always thought distance is the major factor to get in the primary school until today heard from my colleague, it was not the case .. then started to browse this forum.

My bb girl born in 27 Dec 2012 .. other 2012 bb already able to walk but mine not even started to crawl ... Am aiming to get into poi ching tampines school because of staying nearby (st hilda is out of my mind), now just realized I will also need to be volunteer parents in future because of my dragon year bb.

My dragon_boi bites everything! :frustrated:


He loves paper and even our board books are all chewed off not to mention flash cards. I give up! So, I am very very pleased with my purchase of these fabric flash cards! :please: I wanna share about this material here with all other bunny/dragon parents.

It comes in a very handy and cute fabric basket with a netted drawstring cover. :please:

In it are 26 of these vibrantly illustrated fabric flashcards filled with foam boards.

Each card features an uppercase alphabet with a simple word that begins with that corresponding letter. At the back of the card, it features a cute and fully coloured picture with the chinese word below the it.

So far, while my dragon_boi has sunk his teeth into them, they are all still intact in their original shape to date. Only time will tell. :xedfingers: But still, I love this set. :please:

With these cards, I was able to sustain enough interest (and it was able to sustain durability of course) to work some of the cards with him. This week, he went k-uh k-uh... caaaaat! Nope, I didn't teach him any phonetic sounds yet. :shock:
