      Hi,

My younger child will be turning 3 next year. I am thinking of sending her to language enrichment centres (english & chinese) instead of Pre-nursery. Any mummies could advise what are the good language enrichment centres? Thanks.

        Mummy of 3,
Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately, Tienhsia's timing is not good for my little one. I am considering berries now.

Berries is quite a good enrichment centre. I will be sending my son for class commence next year Jan 2011. It is quite difficult to find a place for my son as I waited for more than 6 months.

I want to enrol my 5 year old son to enrichment activities but don't know which to send him to. I want to eventually discover his interests and talents. Eg music, drama, art etc.. How do you know what your child is really interested in so that you can nurture your child’s talent? I don't want to be sending him to some class that is currently trending or popular just for the sake of it.

Why not ask your son? Many kids at that age are quite verbal. Or Find opportunities to expose him to the many activities available at the nearest CC or swimming pools. Or gauge his interest from TV programs. Does he enjoy watching play art & craft, making music using various instruments, singing & dancing, martial art…

You know your kid best. At that age, there are not that many activities to agonize over. Many parents start off by enrolling in activities they love or hope their child would love.

I guess you can spend more time observing your kid's interests and talents.
By 5 years old many kids display strong inclination towards their inborn talent be it music, art, craft, sports, singing etc.
Spend some time, step back and observe plus reflect on what your kid is keen on or strong in. 🆒
Talent in certain field is usually inborn (sorry i am no child expert, just by observation) but nurturing makes the difference for that talent.
