      Just a reminder for tomoro:

      1) Reach school by 7.20am
      2) bring $60 for PAACT member
      3) bring $30 for orientation pack
      4) bring EZ link card for identification
      5) bring PE attire for games
      6) No parking lots in NJC due to on-going construction works

Did I miss out anything ?

For those who needs to buy PE attire/polo T-shirt, it is from 10.30 to 14.00 in NJC during Orientation (list did not specify location, so keep a lookout for queues). School tie/collar pin from bookstore when sch commences (list did not specify whether it is tmr).

Thank you, Vito. Thank you, Jennifer. Have fun tomorrow!

Wondering why they sell only from 10.30 to 14.00 ? I thought we have some briefing during that time ?

Just read, for the $60 for PAACT member, I think we are supposed to pay by cheque. So bring a cheque ...

Did you get the consent form for Thur Sentosa trip and Fri dismissal at 8.30pm?

These info I heard while sitting in the hall during the students only segment in the later part of the day. Was expecting my boy to give me the forms but he did not bring back such forms.

I queued for t-shirts and shorts. Only managed to buy one 'S' shorts. Waited till 10plus then another supply of 'XS' t-shirts came. Partnered with another mum, she q for the PE attire, and I q at the bookshop.

So unlucky, it was almost our turn at the bookshop, sch tie sold out. Collar pin another 1 week lead time :stupid:

              Very messy.

Polo T is not sold by BiBi&BaBa, not PE attire vendor, not bookshop. It's another vendor who comes in only on Wed but supply is not ready. Another 2 weeks lead time. In the meanwhile, on Wed students will wear full grey uniform.

Maybe you all not used to it. We already experienced it on Reporting day. Anyway, since we were only missing the tie & the pe shorts, during the 1st breaktime at 9am, I had my boy run off to Q to buy his PE shorts(he small sized, can run in between all the adults, mah. haha). When we reached there, my husband went to Q at the bookshop while I went to my boy at the PE Q. Good thing I'd asked boy to go 1st bc he was 2nd in his line, and got XS PE shorts quite quickly, then we went to canteen bc altho' he had breakfast, he was hungry already, so quickly ate, while dh continued to Q for tie.

So we made it back to the school hall by 9.20am for the talk. Whew!

My boy not tired, leh. Maybe he used to long days in primary school bc he was always busy with ccas. He's still happily playing now at 9.30pm.

When I came into the hall, I heard something about Sentosa. Dunno what it was about until my girl told me they gotta go Sentosa.

I left after the lunch by PAACT. Is the talk after the lunch useful ? Did I miss anything ?

The whole thing was quite messy in the sense that no proper communication was passed down. I was trying to buy Polo T-Shirt. I waited at the canteen from 10.20 to 10.40, so shadow of the so callled vendor.

Then I queue at the PE attire only to be told that it is at the bookshop. Then I queue at the bookshop but the queue cannot move at all. Fed up, I left the queue for the next Dean's briefing.

Only then, did the Dean told us the Polo T-Shirt won't be available until 2 weeks time.

Before I left in the after lunch, I went to the bookshop, there is a sign saying Polo T-Shirt wont be available until 10 Feb.

I wonder why they like to procrastinate ? At first they say can buy on Reporting Day, then on Orientation Day, then now on 10 Feb ?

                    Can't they get all available before 23rd Dec ? ... sigh ....

Anyway, these are \"small things\" but I hope the way they run the course will not be as messy !! šŸ™ šŸ™ šŸ™

I looked at the syllabus they gave us.

Please don't laugh at me but I better ask before my girl asks me,

What the hell is \"Clues, Sleuths and Inkblots\" ? What does it mean ?

                      Thanks
