Hi, just notice this post. Yeap my son is in P1/6 too. Hear he mention Gordon, Jorge… And he fail to remember a single thing in class…
Only know he has Maths worksheet to do, and spelling list, all because we check his bag… -

yday my son given english worksheet hmwork... there's a pg whereby they hv to write another word that begins with the same sound... i find that there are few quite difficult for their age...

My son say teacher instruct do one page, but unable to say further. Got my son to ask teacher what is to be done......

Yday my son gave us a shock, he didn’t board the sch bus back hm, my mum tey all so worried when never see him alight sch bus. I quickly call up sch to help find out whether he still in sch or has boarded any of the sch buses, luckily he was still in sch… he waited at Gate 5 queue instead of his Bus 5 queue…

In my humble opinion, there isn't a need to find out. Some school have but most do not differentiate as yet.
Rumours is that schools do the \"actual\" class allocation based on a child's ability starts in P3. And there is no way to know which class is exactly the \"cream of the crop\" class, unless your kid is in this class.

dear RSS parents, thinking of register my DS to RSS (P1 @ 2012), still very early and hv plenty of time to think abt, not sure if there is any test during orientation whereby the test results is used to assign the class (came across that some schools did that)? Pls advise, thanks.

a big shock!! i am thinking to let my son to take school bus from 2 term of school....
