The CCA is optional too. If you are worried the child can be overwhelmed and tiring, then you could choose to not let him join for CCA first and wait till they are adjusted to the primary school schedule. -

My son got scouted at primary 1 to join CCA school team. School ends at 1:15pm. After which they will assemble at the hall, at the hall will have school bus line, parents pick up line and finally, morning star line. By the time he goes
For morning star, already 1:30pm, they start serving lunch. Then by the time he eats, dunno what time, and by the time 1:45pm, he’s considered late. So after a few times late in P1, he got kicked out of CCA school
Team and got put in recreational team. So in my opionion, CCA is not recommended in P1, until he is very used to looking at time and not be late. -

Wondering whether is it Sch ends at 1.15pm everyday? Any day is a later dismissal? -
