Bro,

I am also a former Marist. Registered my son under Phase 2A2.

Hope our sons will be happy being a \"Marist\"..

Hi everyone, my son will be attending MSHS next year. Got in under Phase 2A1. (Yes, I'm a former Marist). We live quite far away (Yishun) but I really wanted my boy to have a chance to experience the same school culture I did and also in hindsight it was a good move seeing how so many places are already gone to phase 2A in so many neighbourhoods.

Anyone else living in the area with kid(s) in MSHS?

My boy said that there were 16 absentees yesterday, apparently a few more were called home after they went to GO for further chkg.

Dunno true or not but that's almost half the class!! Packed assessment book for him to do in case the teachers decided not to teach cos too many absentees.

Really really hope the cases will stop climbing!
Just wondering how is Maris Stella Primary now in general?

Thank you nguan! πŸ•Ί i am so looking forward .... i think i am more excited than my son. πŸ˜‚
totally can relate to your excitement...... Last year, I was as excited as you too, but this year, my excitement kinda lukewarm liao.......
yes i am sure by now the excitement would have died down a bit. .... how is the school work? would it be tedious? my boy is not a very studious one and 200% not discipline, so i am actually worried.

like many parents have mentioned, there's no exam for P1 & P2, so it's quite relax..... but then your DS gotta have good CL foundation, else he will be struggling in his CL, just like my elder DS. But then, a little stress is good for him.

Hi, just wondering, is there CCA for P1? Do the boys get to choose or the teachers will choose?

there's table tennis, badminton & wushu. The boys will go for trial for all 3 cca and the teacher will determine if your boy is selected for the cca.

my kid got selected for wushu but then I din let him participate.
