This is BAD, now I have second thoughts about using Paris Metro....

It is convenient to all the attractions , but it is scary :nailbite: :nailbite: to be robbed when on holiday. :yikes: :yikes:

According to the comments for this video- the pickpockets are immigrants .... :scared:

Everywhere is the same. Even KL, JB is also the worst place in Asia.

We just got to be careful. Years back in Italy my girlfriend was surround by a group of 5-6 men twice at petrol kiosk trying to pickpocket too! My girlfriend is the streetsmart type and managed to get away from them alone.

Just to share, many years ago, my girlfriend was leaving a church in Italy when it started raining. Just as she was leaving, she felt somebody unzipping her pouch. She shouted and the pickpocket ran away.

Sushigal is right. Whenever we are overseas, have to be more alert and careful. It can happen anywhere.

My hubby got pickpocketed under our nose when these two young guys came behind him to help him with his luggage when it was stuck at the turn about at the train station. I’ve always warned him never to put his wallet in his back pocket but of all days he did it and it was stolen. They were very fast and vanished once he went through the entrance.

Most of them don’t work alone.

My father was nearly pickpocketed when we were on the way out from subway via escalator in Paris. 1st person "purposely" dropped something infront of my father, my father out of kindness tried to pick up for him, 2nd person behind my father "picked" his wallet from his back pocket. Fortunately, my father "felt" something and turned back trying to snatch from the 2nd person. Just then, the 2nd person threw the wallet over to the first. My brother who was at least 5 steps away from the 2nd person ran up trying to catch hold of the 1st. There was a struggle and no one tried to stop ! Everyone there just walked and mind their own biz.

There was a commotion and after that they gave up, drop the wallet and ran away. I was behind them but I didn’t help at all as I was in complete shock. Didn’t know how/what to react. After the incident, we did talk abt the risk of trying to snatch back the wallet as there could be a possibility that both are armed.

Luckily we were safe. Think back, I was too dumb…haha
