Wow guess yr heart beats super fast especially coming close to the last 5 or 6 places. Chance to get in was at 51/68= 75%. :yikes:Yes! Balloting at RM, 68 vs 51 vacancies. Got in at position 46. I almost thought gone case, heart going to stop anytime. Once is really enough!

The odds are still considered quite good, although those unlucky enough not to get a place will probably disagree. Balloting is just pure, dumb, luck. -
qms:
I agree with qms. Unless the incident can be confirmed independently by other parents, we will embargo that comment. It is unfair to the school to be subject to unfounded rumours.cjjh:
have some bad scene during this registration as some parents spot students glue sniffing in school & that make me worry & as for CHIJ (kellock) for girl as my 2nd one is boy & as for cantonment still thinking of the distance
having bad headache...
Did you see it personally? You should have reported this to the school. Glue sniffing in school is an offence.
If other parents saw it and told you about it, you should have told them to report it to the school.
If you didn't see it, what made you think the parents were telling the truth? For all you know, they could have said this to reduce competition (so that parents would be put off after listening to this and decided against registering with the school).
So, unless you saw it personally, it's best to take what you heard during this period of time (P1 registration) with a pinch of salt. -

Hello desperatemummy
How is it?
did you get it?

Hi hi
THanks for remembering me. No i didn't get it.
The ridiculous part was as at yesterday 5 Aug, my daughter status has been updated to Singapore Citizen (we applied 1 year ago). But the school refuse to accept it. Do you think it's unfair that they didn't give the slot to a new citizen but give it to PR applicant instead?
I'm writing to MOE to demand an answer for my case

You can go down to MOE and see what they can do for you。
I believe they should be able to help. -
