Actually, when the Principal said \"the school decided not to move\", was she referring to:

      a) the school decided not to move to a new place a few years later with new buildings (moving as in like River Valley High, moving to a new place with new buildings ?) OR

      b) the school decided not to move to a temporary holding area while upgrading works is being carried out on existing buildings ?

I thought she was referring to (b). So if she was referring to (b), then I thought it was good not to move to a temporary holding area bcos usually temporary area will have much worse off facilities & could be in dunno which part of S'pore.

I don't think she was referring to (a) because the cost of building a new campus for NJC is a lot more. But I could be wrong ...

If the holding site is the old RJC, then not so bad since it was a JC. There cant many holding sites. Another possibility wld be the one RV just vacated.

But in the first place, was the Principal referring to (a) or (b) ? :?
Definitely (b).

By the way, we went on the Senior High Tour today. Wah, this LT2 must be the NEWEST part of NJC!!!
On Monday, the children underwent a student learning profile questionnaire.

I kaypoh asked a OGL during lunch time whether she knows how classes are sorted, she claimed based on the student learning profile.

I don't recall such a questionaire last year.

I think Jennifer is not saying that the questionnaire has anything to do with the class allocation, right ?

Jennifer, you are referring to the Survey styles, right ?
I think the OGL was referring to this survey which my boy said was a questionnaire.

The LT which the parenting talk was held looked like this too. I thought that was LT5? LT5 was an arm's length walk from the hall. I was impressed too until I saw a missing wooden skirting along the stage. I told you I am an inspector lor

              Definitely (b).
Yeah I thought so too. If (b), then better stay put at NJC & put up with the renovation works rather than goto a holding site, right ?

Hmm.. I remember the \"tour guide\" said LT2. Anyway, it's the Ngee Ann Kongsi Performing Arts Theatre.

                  But if it's LT5, then where is LT2, LT3, LT4?

LT2 is next to the bookshop. Remember, the one we attended on Dec 23 ?

The OGL replied: go to Sentosa, can excuse MOELC.

I think I will go down to NJC to ask the general office personally and at the same time, call MOELC.

Btw the student class allocation at MOELC website shows class starts at 3pm. The e-learning portal is updated with lessons and also there are 2 lesson plans to be downloaded for printing and to bring to class.
I am sure the Admin staff in NJC said dont need to go to Sentosa if got 3rd lang, can skip it totally and dont need to go to school, but to attend 3rd lang. My boy also said NJC will inform MOELC to excuse them tomorrow but dont know which one is the correct version, the OGL or the NJC admin, conflicting signals. It definitely help if you can check with MOELC whether that is the case and whether there is any makeup classes for NJC
