All About Wushu

thanks winth..
the website doesn't indicate there is wushu. May I know when the new term starts and is it held on weekend? time? fees?
are the classes still ongoing? My kid is 5 as well
and i;m interested in getting him to do something active rather than vegetate in front of the tv
thanks again for sharing -
You can logon to http://www.singapore-wushu.com for more info. Think the instructor comes from this association. No one bothered to entertain me when I tried to email them though. Think busy practising wushu...
My boy's wushu class should end by mid Dec 2008. Think you can call Safra Toa Payoh to enquire. They will entertain you. -
thanks winth. tried calling safra and just couldn't contact the project staff. anyway, contacted wushu-sg and went for trial.. taught by a young local chap..my son really enjoyed it too.. so we're gonna con't lessons at their centre at waterloo for now..
is your son's instructor a lady? is she good with the kids? cos we may need to change to her class next year.
thanks again for the intro

Hi moom,
Glad you all find the class enjoyable. My son looks forward to it every Sunday.
His instructor is a middle age man, with 2 female assistants. The guyβs from China. -
speaking of wushu classes, does anyone know after how many years of foundation training will the kids start to learn the various stances, such as changquan or taijiquan?

Hi,

Hi hi

Just been referred to this site by a parent. She said that I should come here and tell ppl about our school so here goes... *self plug*
You should come down to http://www.kuenwushu.com and take a look at our classes. Our trainers are really passionate about teaching and I make it a point to meet and talk with the parents whenever I see them to find out how we can make it even better.
Or... (here comes shameless plug #02) you can take a look at some of our school's activities on http://kuenwushu.blogspot.com.
Call or write if you have any queries
and Thanks for having me here! -
