Your maid is telling you in your face, loud and clear that she will behave and do what she feels like, if you are not happy, send her back to agency. She is not interested in working for you any more.

I would buy her an air ticket, on the day of departure, ask her to pack and send her home.

I agree. It's time to send her back and take your chances with another maid even though it may be tiring to train and adapt to a new maid.

If you keep her and accommodate her, it'll probably get worse because she thinks she's indispensable.

Then please send her back. My maid said that to me many times, I am glad I really did send her back, but not to agent but straight to the airport.

Totally agree. Where got send back agency one ? incur all the extra cost, straight to the airport; it is cheaper, better and faster. More of these patterns since the mandatory day off starts.

I’m looking for meaningful courses to send my Indonesian helper for. She says the Muslim courses meant for helpers had closed registration now, and next intake would be Nov.


Does anyone know of other centres I could check with?

I'm guessing again, if she were any good these last 3 years... with the new regulations kicked in Jan this year...you would have offered her something to keep her happy. So I would say she should blame herself.

From what I see online it’s $450 with weekly day off for new maids. Some with past experience also $450.

I justice hired an ex-sin indo maid. Her salary is $480 per month. She doesn’t want off day so I need to compensate abt $18 x 4.
