Just attended the PTC yesterday. Yes, swimming compulsory. Mine dd is in Gage Brown.

Have called Francis cos i can't just wait....The transport company just fax back to me yesterday but still finalizing the total cost....no news on transport still for CCA...

A few of us parents spoke to the FT about the swimming as to whether can be exempted as our girls have already attended swimming lessons outside. Were told to get a letter from the coach and email her. Actually I have already arranged the CCA transport for her swimming on every Friday , to pick her up at 4.30pm. Additional of $40 per month for the CCA bus. Now , will cancel.it. You may look for Mdm Nur, 62886032, On the phone , she will register your girl’s name in her system and let you the bus no.and driver name.

Yes, at the PTC the FT told us that from next week onwards, she will send out email updates on weekly basis !!! :celebrate:

Feedback is working ! This weekly updates thingy is very helpful and useful for working parents to help their kids to comply with the sch requirement.....

Hi Doraemo, I'm looking for a swimming coach for my gal. May I know where you sent your gal for swimming lesson? Through a swimming school or private coach? My gal not keen in learning swimming as she is scare of the water but she enjoy to get into the pool with float :idea: I'm trying to convince her to learn as it is good for her and moreover it will be a compuslory thingy for her next year.....Any good swimming school or private coach to recommend? Don't want those very fierce wan lah...later she dun want to go for lesson .

Yes, better to learn now as the school homework is not so heavy in P1.
My gal has her swimming lesson at the HomeTeam NS, 2 Bukit Batok West Ave 7 under Camelot Aquatic every Saturday, morning.

Btw, how do you find the coach there? How long has your gal learn swimming from them? Did your gal has the fear of learning to swim without the float? Appreciate some feedback.
