Is there a dateline for those CO to exercise the option ?As a record for future parents,
we were told during the preview that there were 1853 DSA applicants, offered CO to 152 and a handful of WL. -
In the letter, it states that we need to exercise our option on 21st Oct when the child’s school will hand us a option form.

Went to the preview of NUS High today. I may say, I'm very very impressed with NUS High. Their facilities, teachers and seniors left us good and deep impression. And the best best thing of all, there will no \"O\" level or \"A\" level examinations for my son! !! Their system is somewhat like NUS based on credits and such. They'll have a diploma at the end of their 6 years course and the chance of getting into NUS is very high. I nearly burst into tears of relief when I heard that. Now, need to encourage him to sustain there for the next 6 years. ... :boogie:
Fully agree. We are impressed too, and we think DS has made the right choice even though it's far from our place. We feel that it will be the place that can further develop his interests and strengths. -
Hey, just to also share that the vice principal (I think is him) who told me that there is very high chance for students on waitlist to get in. ... so all the best to all! !!!

Just an observation from tea sessions. I attended 2 years back tea session for my elder DS and attended today for younger DS. There are new developed contents on Student Leadership program and non-Science achievements/programs. School continues to evolve and fine-tune the programs. I believe the school will continue to grow from strength to strength.

Yes, the teachers & mentors are most helpful, just to share, my DS1's Chemistry teacher has gone to the extent to arrange for a senior mentor for him to prepare him for acceleration to Year 3 Chemistry. The school is willing to assist students as long as the students have the interest & potential, even if it's only one student.WoonieNed:

Is there school bus from school to home?
Yes. I remembered last year on Matriculation Day (sometime in Dec), there will be a counter where you can sign up for school bus. They will collate requirements from students and will plan for the pick-up time in the morning.
Should be the same for this year. -

Thanks Jon101 for the info.[/quote]Forgot to mention that the school bus is only one way, i.e. from home to school in the morning. As the dismissal time for students are different based on the year of the students as well a the electives and CCA that the student takes, there is no bus transport from school to home.Jon101:
