Dear Parents,


1. The construction of the school is on schedule and will be ready when school re-opens on 2 Jan 2014.

2. In order to help you plan your leave, the Orientation Day for West Spring pupils as well as a general briefing for parents will be conducted on the first day of school; Thursday, 2 Jan 2014 approximate time is after 7.45 am. More information on this matter will be provided much later to parents. There will be 3 days of Orientation for our West Spring pupils to better prepare them for primary school life as well as get acquainted with a bigger environment. Parents may view their children in action only during recess (on all 3 days).

3. As the P1 registration is still on-going, the school will only be able to assess the need for a School-Based Student Care at the end of the whole registration process.

4. The purchase of books & uniform (PE attire) / shoes will be made available before school re-opens. Details on the venue and dates / times will be provided to parents much later.

5. A good & experienced bus operator will be engaged for parents who need transport services. Details will be provided to parents much later. If you’ve any other queries, please feel free to contact our Administrative Executive, Mdm Noor at 6284 4967, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Mon to Fri.

We’re new to spore edn sys.Our son is currently studyg in international sch in spore.But we’re thinkg of plcg him in local sch sys as been hearg tat it’s rigorous yet holistic & so much more affordable.We’ve read a lot on west spring primary & fancy approach taken which places emphasis on makg learng fun & engaging.Our son currently learns in this way @ international sch & so we think west spring will give him a natural transition to local sch sys & most importantly continue to allow him to enjoy learning & going to sch everyday.So we plan to register @ west spring @ phase 3 even tho we’re PR.In event tat west spring needs ballotg @ phase 3,and if we’re balloted out,does it mean we then go to other sch in Bt Panjang with vacancies to register our son?

you are making the right choice with West Spring. There should still be enough places left in phase 3. But if there is a ballot, then those who are unsuccessful will be allocated an available school near to the area where they reside.

With your generous response, it's confirmed that we've have made gd decision and prepared to take ballotg chance as there's really nothing to lose for us. So we'd rather give west spring a try as to us it's a gd sch worth tryg for!

Nice to hear that you’re planning to put your child at West Spring. Join the club! Like what tenko said, you stand good chance getting in! Even if need to ballot, worth a chance as there’s still 1 more school in Bt Panjang with many vacancies at phase 3! So if after trying, still can’t get into West Spring, then fall back on the other school. Just check the numbers in afternoon of 29 August as that shd give you idea of chances.

Here are some updates regarding the pioneer Primary 1 next year:

1. The purchase of books & stationery, PE attire and school shoes & socks will be made available at the end of Nov / early Dec @ Zhenghua Secondary School. More details will be provided to parents much later.

2. The contact information of the bus operator will be provided to parents by end of September.

3. The school is still exploring the setting up of a school-based student care centre. More details will be provided to parents much later.

Thank you for registering your child into West Spring Primary and entrusting your child /children with us over the next 6 years. We’re very heartened that despite us being a new school in Bukit Panjang, you’ve nonetheless placed your trust and faith in us in bringing out the best in your child / children by making West Spring your first choice school.

The school will be sending the notification with regards to your child/children’s successful application/s to West Spring Primary at Phase 2C Supplementary. You should be receiving it by latest 30 August 2013.
