Agreed. Must feedback to them thru the correct channel so that they can improve
Yalor, someone must know the \"trouble\" & confusion they caused.csc:
all of u, hor, are really funny... and still can keep up the sense of humour despite the disappointments! Well done!
must think of a way to let the admin people in njc and better still, the principal read all these.

It is all a matter of expectation. Maybe, we Singaporeans are used to excellent organization & great efficiency.
To pacify myself, I thought maybe all these hiccups is to for them to experience & learn to increase their level of tolerence. Hahaha
But then again, I try to tolerate lah. They will be there for 365 x 6 = 2,190 days. So, maybe the Day 1 was bad but I just hope the other 2,189 days are better.
Because for me, when entering a new school, the utmost import thing is for my girl to like the environment, to like her friends & to feel a sense of belonging to the school & be proud to be a student of the new school.
Because at the end of the day, if she doesn't like the new environment, if she doesn't like her new friends, if she is surrounded by all snobs, she won't be happy in the school no matter how organized & efficient the school is.
If she dread to go to school, if she doesn't look forward to see her new friends ... then it is gonna be a problem to overcome the next 6 years ...
I gotta keep my sense of humour despite the initial hiccups because I am trying to stay positive. I ask her to participate & get involved in all the games irrespective of whether she likes it or not, be sporting & just enjoy herself because at then end of the day, life in NJC will be what she makes it out to be....
Cheers

My boy didn't tell me anything about bringing food, but i realised later that he'd packed bread himself. So nice. Maybe he saw what his sister did - she packs food herself in the morning to bring too, bc canteen too crowded n they sec 4 no time

Yeah, my girl said it is really very enjoyable & fun. She likes it. She has make friends with the rest of the group, already starting changing hp num, sms each other, making frens via facebok ... etc ....
She also said that the group have established a sense of \"heng tai\" (comradeship) & the group members were disappointed to know that they will be split up agian when the class list is announced tomorrow !!
So, back to square one ... & they gotta start making new friends again ... -
