Thank you for all your responses on sleeping time. DS usually sleeps at 11+ but he naps in the afternoon for 1.5 hours (our aim is usually 10 minutes but it is very difficult to wake him up when he naps πŸ˜“ ).

Ah boy does not take afternoon naps daily. Once a blue moon, yes. And it is always initiated by him - just take off n I did not even know until I go check on him lying on the bed sleeping soundly πŸ˜‰ He will set his alarm clock to wake him up.

my major headache with him is when it comes to time mgt between his play/rest time and work/revise time. His is slewed towards play/rest time. Normal for children, I know.

But when compared age to age with elder boy, he is clearly off the mark.

              Hi ngl,
My kids also sleep at 11+...bcos they sleep in the afternoon.
Their most productive time is from 8-1030pm.
I did try to limit to 30 min nap but they can't wake up...and no alarm clock can wake them either...not even the loudest and most irritating buzz.
Mondays are the worst, which is expected.

Since last year, my son developed a love for sleep more than eating.

Maybe you are stressing yourself. Maybe you should compare your PSLE Oral with your Prelim Oral. Is it better, same or worse? I think the score should be around there...

PSLE oral was definitely a lot worse...

                      It's over, move on.
Work harder for listening comprehension and actual papers.
                      All the best.

Thank you. Probably stressing myself out. So many people in school that I think can do better than me. So demoralising.
