Oh....i wont enjoy or want such \" ME Time\" as i missed my gal terribly during that few days....
Becos there was literally no news from them....and couldnt contact them...( unless emergency which have to go thru few channels)
They are NOT allowed to bring their mobile phones....

My dd1 missed me more than I missed her. She cried in her sleeping bag while thinking of me. So endearing

Me, on the other hand, feel that 2 nights passed quickly with dd2 at home. Hence dd1 is home before I begin to miss her. I know I very 没良心 :siam:

Yes.....my gal missed me terribly too....
as she not only could not see me, couldnt even hear my ( our) voices....
So when she was back home....
first thing threw down all her baggages..... rushed forward to hug me....so endearing.... :please:[/quote]i tink my DD will do that too. cry in the sleeping bag. and my DW might do that too. but it should be good for them to be exposed to such \"wilderness\". let them know what is life without \"HOME\".

Wait 6 more years for your ME time
Or maybe 4 will do. Heard single session from 2016 so when both your kids in primary school likely will have more time to yourself
when they in school i m at work. so Me time should still be the same....wake up at 4am... :faint:
          Nebbermind:
Was doing this kinda work for a few years...worse than NS coz :

          1) NS only standby once a year at most
          2) NS Response time 4 hrs for key personnel or 8 for most others (any change in recent yrs?) whereas maintenance svc call can be 1 hr!!
so u were working near YCK/Bedok mrt for some time?
          janet_lee88:
The not so fun is the injection.

Son also attended the camp at dairy farm...remember to bring more mosquito repellent.
          ok will try to rem.

Had some dealings with them but never worked for them coz in different industry.

BTW, was it not another big IT company at the Bedok site previously?

The camp is for all P5s.

Some schools organized this in P4

I have to be hard to let son attend the camp...because he has to go for NS...but mummy here has double standard. When my daughter has camp, I will get heartache. On the night when there was camp fire, I could see he was homesick and I melted 😢 Asked hubby to cook up an excuse to bring him home...hubby said NO.

DD is in P4 now and she is talking about the P5 camp. She thinks it is exciting and fun. I think so too. So fun, whole day of activities with friends, making camp, cooking, eating, washing up and at night when lights out can still chit chat with friends, then scare themselves silly when someone needs to go pee.

My younger girl was so sad that she was not able to go for her P4 camp as we were overseas. She's looking forward to the one next year (Sec3). My other girl was excused from the camp as she has some physical issues - for that one, we were both very thankful!
