FYI, I read somewhere sometime back that MOE will stop awarding IP status to more schools. So unlikely that SJI will gain IP status. Refering to St Joseph Institution, here, not the international school. The international schools should be doing IB programs.

SJI is already S$290 bc it is an independent school (not international, hor - international is SJI(Int'l).

You mean from SJI(International)'s programme? bc SJI does not have 6yr programme.

The 1st batch just completed IB last year...results was just out recently. You can search the newspaper & press releases. Maybe SJI(International) website would have.

ACS(I) did better than SJI international in the IB exams.

No. I am referring to whether any 6 year IP such as those from RGS/RI or HCI/Nanyang. Have the 1st batch done their A Level ?

Raffles Programme

Raffles Junior College offers the Integrated Programme, also known as the Raffles Programme (RP), together with .< Under the RP, students will experience a seamless curriculum from Sec 1 all the way to JC2, spending their first four years in either Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) or Raffles Institution, and their fifth and sixth year in Raffles Junior College. The Raffles Programme (RP) [7] is designed to provide students with depth and breadth of discovery, as well as ensure rigour in learning. It was implemented in Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) and Raffles Institution in 2004, and in Raffles Junior College in 2006.

Under the RP, students experience a seamless curriculum from Sec 1 all the way to JC2, spending their first four years in either Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) or Raffles Institution, and their fifth and sixth year in Raffles Junior College. RP culminates in the new and revised Singapore Cambridge General Certificate in Education 'Advanced' Level examinations (GCE 'A' Level) at the end of the sixth year.
With the time freed up from not having to prepare for, and sit, the 'O' Level examinations, students are in a better position to develop their capacity and potential for creative, analytical and innovative thinking as well as leadership, service and character development. There are also more opportunities for mentorship, research studies and industrial attachment with institutes of higher learning or industry partners.
The first batch of Raffles Programme students received their A Level results on 7 Mar 2008. They have done exceedingly well. [8]

If the IP (in this case RP) started in 2004, how can they receive their A level results in 2008 ?

Sterling Performance of the First Cohort of the Raffles Programme

Raffles Girls’ Secondary (RGS), Raffles Institution (RI) and Raffles Junior College (RJC) are proud to present the achievements of the first cohort of the Raffles Programme. 75.5% of all the students who received excellent results at the 2007 GCE “A” level examinations underwent the integrated programme offered at RGS and RI. Their results show that they have been able to excel at the “A” levels even though they did not sit the “O” level examination. The Raffles Programme has provided these students with a more enriched curriculum, more time and greater exposure to research programmes, overseas expeditions, community and social entrepreneurship projects and special training courses such as Future Problem Solving. Beyond strong academic grades, the Raffles Programme has certainly added value to the learning experience of our students and provided them with the confidence, mindsets and competences needed for the challenges of a competitive global environment.
