DD is in P4 now and she is talking about the P5 camp. She thinks it is exciting and fun. I think so too. So fun, whole day of activities with friends, making camp, cooking, eating, washing up and at night when lights out can still chit chat with friends, then scare themselves silly when someone needs to go pee.

My younger girl was so sad that she was not able to go for her P4 camp as we were overseas. She's looking forward to the one next year (Sec3). My other girl was excused from the camp as she has some physical issues - for that one, we were both very thankful!

I have to be hard to let son attend the camp...because he has to go for NS...but mummy here has double standard. When my daughter has camp, I will get heartache. On the night when there was camp fire, I could see he was homesick and I melted 😢 Asked hubby to cook up an excuse to bring him home...hubby said NO.

I enjoyed going for camps since young. Church camps.. Outdoor camps.. Leadership camps.. Never had the experience of missing my mummy..
I was like hurray! Away from mummy for a few days šŸ˜‰
Perhaps I like to try new things and I love freedom.. I simply love all the activities..

I love to sleep in sleeping bags/tents.. Snuggle and chit chat with my friends.. How I miss those days..

Thailand. 3hours from BKK. Farm Chokchai. Wanted to try the one in Khanchanaburi but no chance.

And our make do yearly, school holiday ritual for kiddos, cousins and friends. Living room glamping. Haha. We set up our 6 man tent in our living room, portable bbq pit in the garden for roasting marshmallows, turn on aircon and kiddos have their 'glamping'. Wanted to set up the tent in the garden for them but they were scared so we moved it into the living room. šŸ˜‚
