Is Ah boy using Ultimate Science Guide?TheAnswer:
[quote=\"Jennifer\"]My worst fear materialised.
Prelim Sci results r made known today.
Section A 54/60 whereas section B 25/40
Paper was not returned today.
Eversince the tutor cant come anymore due to pregnancy complication and replaced by another tutor, I hv the feeling that this tutor (who is one of the owners of the centre) is not reaching out to ah boy.
Now I hv another subj to deal with at home :faint:
No. Should I go buy it now?
Yes. Quickly buy it from popular. My students are all using it. Trust me. It's pretty good. Time is running short. This book covers all PSLE science topics from P3 to P6. It highlights key concepts and has comprehensive notes and answers. Answers are structured using keywords. The answers they provide are excellent. It is largely self explanatory. I was in popular this morning. Noticed only 2 copies left in the bukit panjang branch (both with folded edges).. Guess that's why they are still there.. If you do not mind the condition.. Quickly zoom in to buy tmr.. If can't find.. Ask the staff which branches still have it.. It's orange in color. Quite thick.
I hv a 1st edition Marshall Cavendish Science PSLE Revision Guide and its other exam paper booklet. Now making him go through the exam tips in the book.
Shld follow up with the mock exam paper booklet.
Today, I am in the scolding mode.
Cool down Jennifer. He will be alright. He needs your moral support.
The simplest type comparison qn: Which do u think is more suitable? Why?
He ans: A. Bcos B is .......
Alamak! Since P3, we hv this type of qn. This round he chose to challenge status quo n listed the disadvantages of B w/o saying the merits of A.
I told him I saluted his courage.
Case adjourned.
After dinner I talked to him, telling him I noticed he always slacks on the day before the last exam paper. It's true.
Last week, I posted that I was stressed bcos he did not want to revise Sci at all for the next day Sci prelims.
While reading the Marshall Cavendish Science PSLE Revision Guide, he pointed out that his way of answering is in accordance with the guide and that I did not trust him.
I blew up.
If I had not trusted him, why would I allow him to do only MCQ of other sch papers?
He disappointed me, yet could tell me I did not trust him :slapshead:
Ok, case closed. I pray I would hold my tongue. Hopefully he gets my point now and work HARDER n SMARTER

Durian is rather heaty for you now. You are already all heated up. Tmr you can consider stocking up some ice cream too. I bought Haagen Daz ice cream today.. Tension going up for me too..
Hubby came home, asked me whether want to join him for durian. I think ice cream is a better option.
What needed to be said n ranted about are r done.
Move on ahead
P.s. Hokkaido travel - booked this afternoonicy_mama:
jennifer, cool down. perhaps that ice cream may help lower the temperature of that boiling blood? :hugs:
