Actually our kids are also *advised* to reach school by 7.20am.

What I meant was that when I called up Nanyang, the admin told me that school starts at 7.25am but all students are advised to reach by 7.20am. -

I saw there are many girls already exercising at 7.20am in the school. -

Yes, I saw that too when I drove past Nanyang at 7.25am on Tue (5th Jan). So Nanyang can't be possibly start at 7.40am, right ? -

Maybe those are self initiated groups? Rather than mug books, the girls decide to exercise before sch starts?Jennifer:

And that's at like 6.30am in the morning? And it's for choir, not track/field!VitoRelax:

I think they have something similar for band too. I'm sure other ccas also have their own activities.
In my boys' pri school, during periods of preparation for performances or competitions, they have to be in school by 7am for morning practices apart from afternoon practices for their cca. -

Anyone tried the new alternative road using the new Bartley viaduct at Airport Road that opens today ?
I tried just now, it is an alternative to PIE linking from Tampines Ave 10 to Bartley to Lornie Road then join to PIE at Adam Road. Took just 20 mins to reach NJC. But not sure what it will be like during the morning traffic.
Think this would be good for those in RI coming from the East.
