They don’t need PVs on the schools trips if they need any help I think they will enlist parent volunteers with their child already in school instead. I heard that the PTA is very strong in NYPS.

Die die must do...but still hope to jumpstart with those duties that take a couple of hours each trip...
Envious.....if i am chosen..really don't mind doing traffic warden every day as long as I kid will stand a chance of getting a placing πŸ™

          Hi Voo Voo

If I remember correctly, if you are a Traffic Warden, you have to commit for the 40 weeks.

If you are interested to do extra hours & are able to volunteer last minute, you could let the PV organiser know. They might call you up if the PTA cannot find people in time.

I clocked a few of my hours like that too - last minute the PTA parent couldn't help for excursion TOMORROW, luckily I could take leave last minute. πŸ˜“

During the orientation, the PTA was appealing for parents who can bake cookies or loveletters to sign up for a baking activity for the upcoming CNY.

Not sure if the event is open to PV, but perhaps you can check?

BTW, is your child 2005? If 2006, they just settle 2005....1 year down te road for 2006 kids...
