Hi JenniferLast night I asked my boy what time he will be dismissed today. He happily told me 1pm. But I vaguely remembered he has boarding programme after lunch at sch.
Turned out he thought the principal said boarding at school for JH1 is at term4. Since now is term1, there is no boarding programme. He conveniently thought boarding=boarding programme
Saw the thread - my girl is in 108 too ...

Maybe selected topics from each textbook. Just guessing...Been wanting to ask this for so long but keep on forgetting ...
In the booklist, we were asked to buy 2 Maths Sec books. One is a Sec 1 Maths book & the other is a Sec 2 Maths book.
So, they school gonna finish teaching both Sec 1 & Sec 2 Maths in JH1 ? :?
Thanks
And I thought for Chinese , we have to buy for the 2 levels as well. -

My son in another IP boys' school has no home econs lessons. So, I don't know if it's the same over here.So no home econs?
Wonder if I shall start simple cooking class for my boy? Or teach him how to change light bulbs, etc? hahahaha
At first I thought boarding involves meal preparation on their own. Then the principal mentioned catered food. siah -
It’s really amazing. The mother (whom I partnered with at the PE attire Q) has her daughter same class as my boy and also they are in the same group to do a class project today.
Out of the norm, my boy said he remembers all the classmates’ names. In the past, he does not bother, this year he decides to make an effort. Really surprises me.
For IS Integrated Science, the class is doing a brochure on the theme "Amazing Race", each group is assigned a different country, given some statistical data about the country. Ah boy says he thinks it is Geography.
His class has 7 boys, 18 girls. -

My son say they can do the whole book themselves if they like.

Yalor, kudos to Jennifer's son for being so detailed. My girl also didn't say much except that \"We must do a brochure for one country\" -
