I think the emphasis in P1 should be building their foundation on languages, right? So, didn't occur to me that it was abnormal. Or, maybe I am wrong....

So our sons have the same Mother Tongue lessons/teacher as they join classes.

My son came back saying Zhang lao shi gave them a blog/website address to access like ting xie characters or something along the line. He did not manage to capture it...did your son get it. If yes, pls share website address...

Sigh.....

Why sigh? I should be the one sighing! My son is even worse! He didn't even tell me anything about this, and when I asked him, he couldn't answer me! :x He has forgotten what Mr Zhang told him!

However, he was pretty sure that today's ting xie is on Hanyu Pinyin, not Chinese characters. He was able to tell me which Hanyu Pinyin will be tested.

Glad that our sons are in the same class for Chinese. At least we can exchange notes.
